What is IPM?
IPM (Integrated Programme in Management) is a 5 year dual-degree course (BBA+MBA) offered currently by seven IIMs to join and experience an IIM right after 12th. The course was first started by IIM Indore in 2011 and was followed along by IIM Rohtak in 2019, and IIM Bodhgaya, Jammu and Ranchi in 2021. Many private institutes also offer IPM.
Which IIMs offer IPM?
Currently, 7 IIMs offer the IPM course: IIM Indore, IIM Rohtak, IIM Ranchi, IIM Bodhgaya, IIM Jammu, IIM Amritsar and IIM Shillong.
Apart from IIMs, IIFT Kakinanda, NALSAR and Nirma University offer the IPM program too.
What is the exam syllabus?
IPMAT Indore consists of 3 sections: Quantitative Ability (MCQ) Quantitative Ability (SA) & Verbal Ability (MCQ). The analysis of IPMAT Indore past year paper can be found here.
On the contrary, IIM Rohtak’s IPMAT consists of 3 MCQ based sections: Quantitative Ability, Verbal Ability & Logical Reasoning.

There are 833 seats across IIMs for the IPM program.

Can a non-math student clear IPMAT?
While having a math background puts you at an advantage, with the right amount of practice and hardwork anyone can clear the IPMAT even non-math students. Many non-math students are already studying in the IPM course.
When is the IPMAT 2026?
The IPMAT 2026 exam date has been officially announced by IIM Indore is 4th of May 2026. The exam is going to be conducted in afternoon shift.
Which is the best coaching for IPMAT?
